Johannes Lorenz
I am a Junior Professor for Business Taxation at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and Research Fellow at the TRR 266 “Accounting for Transparency” Collaborative Research Center.
My research interests cover the economics of tax avoidance and tax complexity as well as the effects of taxation on entrepreneurial decisions. In addition to academic research, I strive to identify the practical and tax law implications of economic reasoning.
I received a Dr. rer. pol. from the University of Passau in 2017 and have worked as a tax consultant from 2018 to 2020 before joining the Taxation, Accounting, and Finance Department at Paderborn University. I joined Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2021.
